It’s winter and the rain won’t stop. I’m from the desert and not use to rain that has been poured on me almost nonstop since Friday. My friend Ashley and I were going to spend Saturday touring the wine country of Stellenbosch before attending a wedding, but the rain kept us in Cape Town. The wedding was conducted in Afrikaans and the reception took place at Blaauwklippen winery.
We threw rose petals as the couple walked into the reception and then toasts took place before dinner.

Very Artsy pics! :)
I heard it snowed in S.Africa yesterday. It was on the Chicago news. Go figure. Why would the newscasters broadcast that? I guess to remind me to pray for ya! :)
Go get a sun lamp. Remember, it's winter over there. LOL sonya
There was snow, not in Cape Town though. Everyone says that this past weekend is the coldest it should get, but there is another front coming in tomorrow and no central heating.
It's sunny here. Frank just left to go flying. :) Miss ya. Send us any details permissible about your internship when you get a chance, please. I'm curious! Sonya
